Most of my photo shoots happen in the big outdoors in parks, forests and on the beach. But now and then it’s fun to stay indoors and set up a little DIY studio for some shots with a difference. This time I went to where the models were at, namely the local Doggy Daycare.
Pupculture Doggy Daycare is owned and run by my friend Verushka, who also happens to be a qualified canine behaviourist. It was just like being at a nursery school for toddlers, except with dogs!
These Doggy Daycare Models were all so obedient and quite willing to climb onto the corner couch and pose for the camera when asked. Of course, there were loads of treats involved and lots of squeaks, whistles and cat impressions from Yours’ Truly!
With any grouping of this kind, be it human or dog, there will always be one or two who try a little harder than the rest. Kevin did a superb job at playing the class clown and gave us some classic expressions for our troubles.
The beautiful flower garlands were personally put together by Verushka to fit with our Spring theme. Our model Delilah carries off the look perfectly and the camera loves her!
Spencer was the cute one in the class. Need I say more?
Iris was another gorgeous character who gave us the Instagram pout without being asked.
